The skin of the human body is often spoken of as the third most important organ after the brain and the heart. It is not just a bag which is there to hold you insides in and the outside out. Your skin is a purification medium. Like any filter the state of your body will be obvious by looking at your skin in its natural state. For instance, if your pool filter has a lot of dirt in it when you go and check it you would naturally conclude that there would have been a lot of dirt in the pool water which has been filtered. It is the same with your skin. If looking at your skin shows you a skin which is heavily oiled, or very dry, or has a host of other skin issues then it is natural to assume that along with the skin, the body which the skin also houses is probably not in the healthiest state that it could be in. It is an old saying which reflects this point, "...a healthy person is beautiful to look at..." The first thing anyone can see about you is your skin, and your skin reacts to different states of your health. Healthy skin is normal and balanced, just like a healthy body.
